Athletic Training

Athletic trainers are licensed healthcare professionals with expertise in preventing, diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating injuries and medical conditions — particularly those related to sports. Whether managing acute issues on the field or providing ongoing support for chronic conditions, our athletic trainers play an important role in keeping student athletes safe, healthy, and in the game.

Syracuse Area health is proud to provide high-quality sports medicine services to the rural communities we serve. Our athletic trainers work alongside orthopedic, primary care, and rehabilitation providers to deliver comprehensive care and improve access to sports medicine services for student-athletes at four local partner schools.
