The Laboratory provides 24-hour coverage for routine and emergency services. Ninety percent of all laboratory testing is performed at the Clinics or at the Hospital. The other ten percent is sent to Labcorp and other reference laboratories.

Our hours for outpatient services are Monday – Thursday 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. & Friday 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please contact scheduling to make an appointment.

Wellness Lab

The Wellness Lab provides a valuable service to our patients and the community, specifically targeting those with high deductibles or no insurance. Results are mailed to the patient and will not be turned in to insurance or given to their healthcare provider.

Absolutely. We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality. You are the only one who receives the test results.
Yes, all test results include the normal reference ranges and abnormalities are indicated. We recommend you see your healthcare provider to discuss results outside of normal ranges.
No, you will receive the only copy. Since we deal directly with you, no one else will receive copies from our facility. We recommend taking the results with you when visiting your healthcare provider.
Laboratory test results may vary depending on age, sex, time of day sample is taken, diet, medications, and the limits of modern technology. A single test or group of results cannot guarantee good health, just as an abnormal result does not necessarily indicate disease. We strongly recommend you discuss the results with your healthcare provider.
You should contact your healthcare provider with questions concerning the test results. If you do not have a healthcare provider you can contact the Syracuse Clinic or Weeping Water Clinic for an appointment.
Why do I have to pay in advance for my lab tests? Paying in advance reduces administrative expenses and keeps Wellness Lab Prices low.
No, laboratory testing performed under the Syracuse Area Health Wellness Lab Program is not covered by Medicare or Insurance.
