SYRACUSE, NEBRASKA — Syracuse Area Health is expanding its specialized offerings for patients needing nephrology care close to home.
The launch of telemedicine outpatient nephrology clinical services begins in February 2025 with the addition of Jeff Marple, M.D. to our Specialty Clinic, in partnership with Teledigm Health.
The new outpatient telemedicine nephrology program will focus on managing and preserving kidney function for individuals with chronic kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or other related health conditions. Patients can receive comprehensive evaluations, personalized care plans, and ongoing monitoring conveniently without the need to travel long distances.
“We are proud to offer this innovative care model to our community,” said Mike Harvey, CEO. “Introducing telemedicine outpatient nephrology highlights our dedication to providing accessible, specialized care close to home.”
Through this program, Dr. Marple, an experienced nephrologist, will provide expert consultations and follow-up care plans. He will work closely with patients to manage kidney health, recommending lifestyle and medication adjustments tailored to each individual’s needs.
For those requiring transplant or dialysis services, Dr. Marple will facilitate seamless connections to specialized facilities, as these will not be offered at the Syracuse Area Health location.
