Syracuse Area Health is currently working with the Southeast District Health Department (SEDHD) to coordinate efforts to vaccinate residents of the health district with the COVID-19 vaccine. Our health district includes Otoe, Johnson, Pawnee, Richardson, and Nemaha counties. Additionally, we are authorized to provide vaccine for qualifying and established patients of Syracuse Area Health living outside of our district.

Current eligible groups are:

-Those age 75 and greater

-First responders

-Healthcare providers

We are currently on limited allocation of vaccine distribution, therefore we are compiling a waiting list of eligible people. As soon as we have vaccine available, our staff will notify you of appointment opportunities. In accordance with the state and local health district plan, distribution will follow the phased approach. As each new phase is rolled out, notifications will be published on our social media and web page.

Those eligible for vaccination now can be added to the waiting list by emailing: CVR@syracuseareahealth.com or calling 402-269-7640. You must include name, date of birth, county of residence, call back phone number, and how you are eligible.
