Syracuse Area Health Arboretum Project

Arboretum Project

Syracuse Area Health Arboretum was established in 2023 and the Syracuse Area Health Foundation continues to fundraise to support the addition and maintenance of trees, shrubs, flowers, native grasses, and wildflower meadows on the Syracuse Area Health hospital campus.

Thanks to individual donors and partnerships with the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum and Pheasants Forever, our patients and community members will enjoy the Arboretum Project for years to come.

The project's vision is to use nature to inspire a healthy and healing environment for patients and the community.

The landscape and arboretum project provides a beautiful area for patients, visitors, and the entire community. Native plants, windbreak trees, and gardens with “comfort stations” have been added.

A sundial was donated by the SAH Foundation in honor of the healthcare professionals who serve our community, both past and present.

You are invited to support the fundraising efforts of the SAH Foundation and the Arboretum Project Committee. Donations and volunteers are needed to bring the vision to life.

The committee hopes to raise $50,000 for the entire project. In-kind donations are welcome, which include goods, services, and time.
