I find continuity the most rewarding part of caring for patients. Primary care involves taking care of a patient over a continuum of time. That process allows a doctor to build a relationship with the patient/family over time. The mutual rapport developed fosters better care during times of wellness and when urgent decisions need to be made.

The open arms and genuinely happy people make me smile. I started exploring opportunities with Syracuse Area Health in 2020 and haven't encountered anyone who raised concerns for me to think differently. Everyone is positive, encouraging, and inviting to a new person!
