Kurt brings a diverse background in primary care, urgent care, and hospital medicine. He began his career in an internal medicine clinic, where he built strong patient relationships while practicing evidence-based medicine. During this time, he also covered urgent care before transitioning to hospital medicine at Nebraska Medicine, where he gained extensive experience in acute care within the hospital setting. One of Kurt’s favorite aspects of acute care is supporting patients through difficult moments. He prioritizes taking the time to listen, applying evidence-based practices, and always acting in his patients’ best interest. Before becoming a PA, Kurt served as a CNA on a medical-surgical unit, where he valued collaboration with nursing staff. He is also passionate about education and actively seeks opportunities to teach whenever possible.
