Syracuse, NE August 19, 2019— Syracuse Area Health today announced that it received a 2019 Excellence in Patient Care Award from Huron’s Studer Group business. Syracuse Area Health is being recognized for demonstrating significant improvements in employee engagement in 2018.

Excellence in Patient Care Awards are presented annually to a select group of partner organizations from Huron’s Studer Group business. To be eligible for an award, an organization must demonstrate overall improvement in areas such as patient satisfaction, and employee and physician engagement.
The award was presented at the 17thannual What’s Right in Health Care® leading practices conference, which took place Aug. 13-15, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. The conference attracts administrative and clinical healthcare professionals from the U.S., Canada and Australia.
